      <image:title>Student Work and Updates - Indigenous Journalism Fellowship applications open through Jan. 31 - Additionally, students who complete all the fellowship requirements will attend and participate in the 2025 Indigenous Media Conference in Albuquerque, N.M., Aug. 13-15. IJA will provide travel assistance including hotel, ground transport and meal stipends for all fellows. IJF 2025 mentors will receive a $500 stipend and a complimentary 2025 Indigenous Media Conference registration at the completion of the fellowship. Mentors may opt-in to donate their time when applying. Virtual interviews for mentor applicants will be held Feb. 13-20 and Feb. 20-27 for fellow/MIT applicants. Applicants will be notified regardless of IJA’s decision no later than March 7.</image:title>
